BLOG POLICIES

As we begin the journey of Brazilian amazingness, we need to set a few ground rules to the game. We realise that many people love to tease about the telenovelas especially if they have had the opportunity to watch them before but here, we will have a strictly no spoilers policy on The Afro-Brazilian Affair .

1. NO SPOILERS

Our reasons for not allowing Spoilers are crystal clear. Yes, we want to know what happens in the next episode. Undoubtedly, the show has hooked us to epitome that all we dream and think about is the telenovela. But then, let's not forget that no episode will be skipped and neither will the story change. All of the episodes will be shown, so the plot will play out. As such, I deem it unfair that some people want to spoil the show for newbies to the story by posting spoilers for them. The Afro-Brazilian Affair will be a strictly spoiler free zone and all posting Spoiler related comments will be banned without regret.

2. DECENCY IS AT THE CORE

Just because you bow down to the erotic gospel, doesn't mean we are all partial to the naked truth. As such, porn related posts are banned on all of our social media platforms as well as on the blog. Anything just close to this will earn you banning from the blog and its equivalent social media platforms.

3. POLITICS IS FOR THE GOVERMENT

I am not mincing my words. Your political opinion has no relation to anything telenovela related. So poiltical bias of any kind....scratch that, anything with the word politics in it must be part of a telenovela's plot or else!

4. IF YOU AREN'T A CAT, STOP MAKING YOURSELF A COPY CAT

Recaps are original and take time to write. Sitting down to watch a show and take down notes isn't everyone's cup of tea so this is done out of passion. Duplicating recaps or anything posted on this blog is an outright crime and I wonder, what will it hurt to just share a link to the blog/Facebook posts? Copying from the page or blog will earn you this....

And the last thing we want is to chase people away from the Brazilian love, now would we?

Now that all that is out in the open, as Brazilians say, "Viva Brasilia!"
