Disebek tells Henutmire that he is not nervous and manages to deceive her. After she leaves, he tells Anippe to get out of her hiding spot and tells her off since they were almost caught by Henutmire.

Amram and Aaron come back home. Amram tells Jochebed that work has ended and Aaron is happy to have left that place but is angered at the thought of having to see the disgraceful Apuki in the morning.

While they are talking, Ramses confesses to Moses that he would never have imagined being happy next to a woman that his father would choose for him as a wife.

Queen Tuya enlists the skills of Gahiji and Leila in preparing the entire buffet for Ramses and Maya's wedding.

Maya is also ecstatic when Nefertari and Moses informs her that he and Nefertari will also be getting married.

Unable to take the fact that her daughter will not be getting married to the future King of Egypt, Yunet secretly approaches Disebek and tells him that she needs his help separating Moses and Nefertari - starting with killing Maya.

When Moses approaches Nefertari, he sees that she is very quiet and far away. He asks her if her solitude is because of Ramses and asks her what he feels for their friend. Moses assumes that she is jealous of Maya being with Ramses and he is hurt.

Disebek does not want to participate in Yunet's atrocious plan, but she swears to reveal everything to Henutmire if he does not help her with her plan to get rid of Maya once and for all, and Disebek is subdued with this threat.

Moses tells Nefertari that if she really feels like she is in love with Ramses, she should face Seti 1 and object to the engagement. Nefertari is outraged at Moses' jealousy and slaps him in the face. She then apologizes to him about her attitude and he asks her to leave, already considering the possibility of cancelling their marriage.

Ikeni and Karoma are still meeting up secretly in the garden in an effort to be with each other.

Aaron sees Amram telling his grandchildren stories and suddenly he is very much annoyed by this.

When she discovers about Moses' marriage proposal to Nefertari, Yunet is taken aback and pretends to be happy for them.

Aaron and Elisheba are worried about Amália's constant sadness as she is constantly depressed since the death of Nun.

Aaron and Ramses see each other and the latter wonders why Moses seems upset. Moses tells him that Nefertari is jealous of his engagement to Maya, and Ramses is surprised.

A confused Nefertari decides to approach Karoma concerning the matter. Karoma tells Nefertari that since she has always been in love with Moses, she should concentrate on him instead and forget about Ramses.

Aaron decides to encourage Amália and tells her that she has to stay strong and fight for her son's life. This makes her finally cry.

Plucking up her courage, Nefertari tells Maya that at first, she felt very much jealous of her engagement to Ramses, but then, she remembered why she chose Moses, and wishes her marriage to Ramses nothing but happiness.

Yunet approaches Anippe and forbids her from going anywhere near Disebek. Now, she has a plan to spike a vial in Paser's herbal room with some poison in it that she plans to use in some makeup for Maya.

Moses decides to bury the hatchet and forgive Nefertari for her indecisiveness. They seal that moment with a passionate kiss.

Jochebed is finally happy to see that Amália decided to leave the house and has come to visit her while Miriam is happy that she will get to work with Abigail.

Yunet delivers two makeup pots to Disebek so that he may exchange them for those in Maya's room. Yunet then commences the next step of her plan - to lead Anippe right to Disebek.

The general pretends to seduce Anippe and replaces the makeup pots without her noticing. 

Paser along with King Seti and Siamon talk about the last details of the marriage of Ramses and Maya. Without knowing, Anippe uses the poisoned pots to spruce Maya up. 

Nefertari sees Maya ready to meet Ramses and praises her. While kissing Maya, Ramses finds the sour taste of  her lipstick strange. Maya starts to feel a burning sensation on her face, and her skin starts going reddish. She also starts breathing with difficulty until the burning sensation subdues her and she faints. Afflicted, Ramses calls for help and Yunet feigns despair.
