Brazilian actor Carlo Porto ( seen as Miguel in Irrational Heart and Nikko in Brave Woman ) will be rejoining Brazilian television after being in SIC's telenovela Heart and Soul ( Alma e Coração ) in Portugal after being contracted for Record TV's upcoming Biblical telenovela, Genesis.

The actor last made highlights in Brazil when he played the role of Gustavo Lários in SBT's telenovela, Angel Face ( Carinha de Anjo ) 







In Genesis, Carlo will take on the role of Adam, and with the good looks Carlo possesses, it's no wonder they want to make the first father of the human race look this hot! The role of Eve has been tasked to actress Juliana Boller.

Alongside Carlo, Genesis will have a star-studded cast of Igor Rickli ( Caribbean Flower ), Zé Carlos Machado ( Moses and the Ten Commandments ) and Adriana Garambone ( Moses and the Ten Commandments ).

Genesis was a project began by Gustavo Reiz, who has written award-winning telenovelas for Record like " The Slave Mother " before he left Record and the telenovela has since been taken up by writer Emilio Boechat. Genesis is scheduled to premiere in 2020 on Record TV and will feature the story of creation as well as the story of Cain and Abel up until the story of Joseph which was highlighted in Joseph from Egypt.
