After three years away from soap operas, Humberto Carrão will return for a longer job on television. This is because the artist is quoted for a new telenovela at Globo. The actor will be part of the fixed cast of Manuela Dias' Amor de Mãe, replacing  A Dona do Pedaço, written by Walcyr Carrasco.

The last work of the actor in telenovelas happened in Wounded Past, by Maria Adelaide Amaral and Vincent Villari, writers of Tangled Hearts which he also starred in.
