If my friend had nudes leaked online…Maisa Silva shares her thoughts during “Conversa Com Bial”

Maisa Silva, popular actress and TV show host known locally for playing Valeria Ferreira in Carrossel was a guest at TV Globo’s talk show Conversa Com Bial hosted by Pedro Bial.

The actress gave her say on a topic concerning the youth and development of technology. In a very mature reply, Maisa told Bial of what she would do if one of her friends had nudes pictures leaked online…

“In such a situation, I have to be empathetic, right? The worst that can happen is, if you put me in that person’s shoes, is someone always throwing that event in my face, “Maisa also said that in an effort to minimize the damage and impact she would advise her friend to seek the aid of a psychologist or a therapist, because and I quote, “an event like that would leave a scar for the rest of one’s life”

Still on the same topic, the ex-host of Bom Dia e Cia said that conservatism is a tool used to oppress young girl, especially girls. She said, “It is not easy, especially for girls, when one’s privacy is exposed in such a manner. It is a school of thought that has been imposed since time immemorial and people still reside with such thoughts.”

While at Globo Studios for the recording of the show, she participated in a blooper for teasing the episode done by Silvio Santos which you can check out below:

There was a moment during the interview that she impressed even Bial himself: I leant that one cannot capture the moon’s perfection with a camera but only with one’s eyes (unless of course, you’re a professional photographer with a super lens). If a teenager wants to take the moon’s perfection in using a smartphone, it will be impossible. So, thanks to the moon, I realize that people will only view you basing on what they see with their eyes.
