We start with Barbara Ellen lecturing Amora and telling her that she still has time to turn back from marrying Bento. 

At Crash Media, Erico shows Tina the ring he plans on giving to Veronica and everyone is amazed. 

Gladys appears at Damaris' home and Lucindo is tempted once more. Nice, sees her and just as Gladys is getting ready to go up to Damaris' room, Lucindo hides Gladys by making her drop to the bottom of the couch. 

Vitinho tells the cast of his show that he will be Filipinho's replacement and they all laugh imagining him in the acting zone. 

Xander tells Brenda off when she calls at the house and tells her not to think to show up at the manison after what she did to scar Filipinho's reputation. 

He also tells Tabata that she is partly responsible for Filipinho's ruin. 

Having a cup of coffee together, Nelson encourages Rosemere and tells her that Filipinho leaving for New York has been the best decision ever because they both need time and space. 

Toca do Saci is finally okay and secure. Plinio learns of Bento and Amora's wedding and as Mauricio and Malu leave, Giane wants to talk to Plinio in private. She tells him that she loves Bento as a friend and knows how this marriage to Amora could be the worst mistake of Bento's life. 

Sueli is insulted by Tabata when she tries to scoop info on Filipinho. 

As Erico and Veronica get cozy with each other, the doorbell rings anda gift bag is delivered to Veronica and at first she assumes it is a present from him but he says it is not. 

Mauricio talks to a nostalgic Natan who reminisces his married years to Veronica saying the gift which he has sent to their home will remind her of the years they spent together.

Bluma interrupts their dinner saying how much she won't forgive his seducing and sleeping with her daughter. 

Damaris arrives home and hears from Lucindo and Nice that Gladys was there and immediately faints. Lucindo manages to rouse her and when Damaris questions him, he swears not to get down with Gladys.

At the Bar Cantai, Filipinho's farewell party ensues. 

Malu manages to convince Mada to go to the party and they leave with Mauricio in tow. 

Amora returns to Bento's apartment and tells him that she read her sister's letter and it left her in a very emotional state. 

She tells Bento that they should just relax together but he tells her that he is going to Filipinho's farewell party. Despite much insistence, Amora declines the invitation to go to the party and tells Bento she will go home and they can see each other the next day. 

Plinio tells Irene that he plans on clarifying some things with Amora. 

Giane excitedly prepares for a fashion show. 

Gloria manages to come to Filipinho's farewell. 

Eliseu decides that he will dance to the music and as he makes it to the dance floor, he bumps into Lili, and they have a heated exchange. Carmem arrives at the party and Gloria is displeased to see her. 

Vinny tells Renata that Erico isn't coming to the party. 

Fabinho calls Amora and warns her that he knows she burnt Toca do Saci to frame him. 

Plinio arrives at Amora's home and tells her that he is not for the idea of her and Bento getting married. 

He bribes her and offers to make her a wealthy woman if she leaves Bento alone. Lucindo arrives at the party and meets up with Charlene sitting right beside Wilson. 

She announces that they are getting married and Lucindo gives his consent (though he humorously warns Wilson that he'll have to deal with him if Charlene suffers). 

Amora tells Plinio that she loves Bento and isn't even a bit interested in his money. 

Plinio then goes on to tell Amora that if she decides to get married to Bento,then he will disown him. He leaves and Barbara comes in. 

Amora tells her of the bribe and Barbara tells Amora that Plinio is capable of going through with the threat. 

Gloria decides to leave after seeing Eliseu and Carmem dancing together. 

Eliseu tells Carmem about his exhange with Lili and why they never became a couple. Carmem says it is such a shame he does not like women, but what a shame too that he and Lili never worked things out. Xander and Filipinho are talking when Peixinho arrives and both look at each other sadly. 

Peixinho tells him that he will miss him and Filipihno asks him to come to New York some time and see him, which Peixinho says he might just do. 

Lucindo, Douglas and Jonas appear on stage dressed impeccably in black clad and Lucindo tells people to ignore Filipinho's sexuality and not make it an issue.

They perform a song titled, "New York" as everyone picks up and cheers Filipinho on. Caio arrives backstage and congratulates Giane on a successful runaway fashion show. They kiss to seal the occasion. 

Renata is irritated to be reminded by Vinny that Erico is with Veronica but Vinny kisses her. Barbara advises Amora to take Plinio's deal. 

Wilson tells Damaris of his wedding to Charlene and Damaris is heartbroken. 

Amora has a plan to keep herself in a good light with Bento and says it is Barbara who will help her. Irene decides to go see Bento and they have a morning coffee together. 

At Mrs. Gloria's home, Filipinho huigs everyone goodbye and it is emotional especially after for Rosemere as he leaves and tells them that he loves them all...
