We start with Bento telling Malu that he never forgot about what they had and he is thinking that they can resuscitate the love they were developing. Malu tells Bento that she is heavily involved and he tells her he apologizes and she should just forget it. He tells Malu that he is leaving and she should call him when more news about the building arises.
Amora tries to tell the public that this was a misunderstanding and it happens to all women who think that they are pregnant. Giane, however, starts to tell Amora to stop lying and that she will tell the truth to the media, even after Caio tries to stop her by chasing Sueli Pedrosa away.
She tells Sueli and the public that Amora falsified two DNA results through the president of her fan club, Socorro.
Rosemere tells Eliseu and Mrs. Gloria that she will be getting an internship with Carmem Lancaster. Mrs. Gloria is sad to hear about her decision of not ever coming back to their house, but Rosemere is quite clear about the decision right after Carmem told her about Bluma and Lana’s plans.
Just then, Chica passes by the living room carrying a bottle of champagne and some glasses. When Mrs. Gloria asks her where they came from, Chica tells her that they were brought by Lana’s driver. Rosemere then prepares to leave and Mrs. Gloria tells her not to ever forget them. Brenda intercepts Chica and brings in the champagne, sees Peracio’s portrait of Lana, and is asked to leave. Peracio and Lana toast to working hard.

Amora is denying all involvement in the crimes that Giane is dishing out. Charlene sees what is happening and is disgusted. Meanwhile, Caio is chasing Sueli away and the nosy reporter is resisting. When Simone hears of claims of Amora not taking care of her, she refutes them and all the fuss makes her pass out. Caio and Amora both angrily tell Sueli to leave.
At the hospital, the doctor tells Charlene that they need to put Simone on more aggressive chemotherapy. Bento comes in and hears from Charlene about Simone’s dire need for a bone marrow transplant. Charlene suggests Amora or either of her kids but then the doctor tells them that bone marrow compatibilities are determined by a lot and doesn’t have to match with the immediate relatives.
Amora tells Giane that this is her victory but then once she gets back up, she will regret it. Bento walks in on Amora saying this and tells her that it is clear she will never change.
Damaris has a talk with Gladis and asks her why she deems her a hypocrite.
Bento walks in on Amora telling Tabata not to try incriminate her for the crimes. He is shocked and Tabata tells Amora not to try pinning anything on her. She warns Bento to be careful with Amora since she is a cobra. He tells Amora that she needs to pay back Malu for the damages at Toca do Saci and also apologize to her. Amora says she cannot pay back since she is unemployed now and cannot leave Simone all by herself. Bento asks her how she looks at herself in the mirror and whether she ever felt remorse for all she was doing. She says that all she did was for love.
Julia cries and admits to everyone at Crash Media that she is pregnant and she says it can only be Edu’s. Fabinho decides that it is best if she stays since she needs work and asks her to have better judgement next time. Tina causes a flurry of the entire thing and hugs Julia out of forgiveness. She says that they should go out for some ice cream and Silvia escorts them out. Erico tells Fabinho that she did what is right. That was a testament to what change can do. Just like how Fabinho says that Renata changed him. Jonas refutes this and says that Veronica was the one who changed him. He tells Erico of the clip of Veronica that was uploaded under: Palmira Valente. He sees it and is enchanted saying that she has a beautiful voice.
Mauricio congratulates Veronica on the hits she has reveived online for her video clip. Veronica laments to Santa, wondering if Erico has seen her. . She then tells Santa that she will use her grief to compose and Santa is proud of her.
Xander still wants to know who Tabata is in love with because clearly she is happy but then Tabata is not ready to reveal anything. They find Douglas very busy taking selfies with fans and with Xander’s help, Tabata convinces Douglas to hire her as his PR manager.
At hospital, Amora tells Bento that what she feels for him is love. She realizes that now and would do it all again if it meant being with him. He tells her that he does not want that toxic love. Simone calls for Bento and he goes to her room.
Simone asks Bento to forgive Amora and give their love one more chance. He tells her that Amora conspired many things that ultimately ruined people’s lives. Simone understands him but asks him not to give up on Amora.
Malu buys a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and has it sent over to Mauricio. He comes to Toca do Saci and she is with Bento. She is happy to see him. Bento then leaves with an excuse that he has to go to the bank. Mauricio tells Malu he received the flowers and more so the card. However, he will only acquiesce to her if she is not always near Bento. He leaves before Malu can finish talking to him.
Erico is at work and Renata comes to surprise him by covering his eyes. He smiles and touches the hands but as soon as he sees Renata, he is disappointed.
Barbara is angry to see Plinio and Irene at the house and wonders what they are doing there and Dorothy tells her that she invited them. It is her birthday and she forgot. Barbara calls her ungrateful and wonders what would have become of her if she hadn’t adopted her from her parents who never wanted her. Bolivar starts crying and almost leaves but Plinio stops him and wants to figure out what is going on.
Amora and Bento go to a shoe store and bump into Amora, working there. They ask her what she is doing there, yet she has a degree and speaks several languages. She tells them that they are useless since Giane exposed her and no one wants to be associated with her. Plus, the money for Simone’s expenses is taxing for her. Bento said he would offer but Amora tells him they will manage. Amor asks Malu and Bento if they are together. Malu says that at this point, they do not owe her an explanation. She asks Malu not to tell anyone she is there since she needs this job.
Amora is fired from the job where she works after the manager realizes she is Amora and not Mayara. Malu and Bento go shopping for both Dorothy’s present and for Perdinho’s gift for his baptism.
Bolivar confesses to being Dorothy’s father and admits that the only reason as to why he gave her up was because he had no money. Plinio and Irene call Barbara a monster for not letting Bolivar ever tell Dorothy that he is her father. He admits to Dorothy that her mother died but she has siblings and now she wants to help them.
Dorothy also tells Plinio and Irene about all the money she has invested and finally wants their help in accounting at a bank. Barbara sees where Dorothy hides the money.
Tina gives Damaris a wedding invite and they sarcastically laugh at how she bagged Lucindo but then Damaris reminds her that Lucindo will always be thinking of her.
Natan finally packs the last of his belongings and realizes that the new owners of the building are Crash Media and Erico comes to receive the keys while Fabinho and Silvia make peace with Natan who admits that they have talent and will make the place flourish.
Wilson and Bento see each other at Pedrinho’s baptism and are forced to greet each other like civilized people. Mrs. Gloria arrives and Bento wants to leave but then she tells him to stay and that she is leaving. Wilson wonders why she even came in the first place, but then Charlene and Vinny remind them that this is a day of peace.
Giane and Fabinho come for Dorothy’s birthday and Barbara is shocked. Dorothy then tells her that she only wants to be relating with the people she can trust. Bolivar calls Barbara a disgusting old hag.
As Veronica is telling Mauricio that she actually feels sorry for Natan, Willy Bob visits them and tells Veronica that the video clip to her song just hit a million views.
At the baptism, Malu engineers a reconciliation for Bento and Mrs. Gloria. They hug and reconcile. Charlene also asks Bento and Wilson to give each other a chance and they greet each other, semi smiling.
Barbara talks about how Fabinho must have been Wilson’s son if they realized that the babies had been switched and the DNA results proved otherwise. Then, Fabinho gets angry when he realizes that Giane and the rest never told him that he could have been Wilson’s son and goes away angrily. Giane tries to get through to him but is unable.
Erico packs up his things from the old Crash Media office and remembers Veronica. He starts crying and Renata walks in on him. She finds him crying and is devastated.
Mel and Tito show up at the baptism of Pedrinho with lowly intentions of trying to get a job at For Forever, but no one wants them there and Mel calls them all tacky people.
Plinio tells Barbara to pack her bags and move out of the house and she accepts. The children are happy but then, Mada tells them that the fact that Barbara did not put up a fight was too fishy and she knew Barbara was planning a move.
Bento and Malu escort Mrs. Gloria home and the latter asks Bento to never forget the garden because then he will be taking care of Livia. He promises not to and as they leave, he thanks Malu.
Amora is devastated and tells Simone that she lost her job simply because of who she is and suddenly realizes that reconstructing her life will not be as easy as she though it would be. What hurt her, however, was seeing Malu and Bento together. She knew it would happen, but it still hurt her very much.
As Dorothy’s party went on, she reveals to Mada about Plinio’s intentions to help her use the money to help her family. Mada asks Dorothy if she showed Plinio where she kept the money and as soon as she hears what she expected, Barbara descends down the stairs ready to leave. Mada runs after her and grabs her bag. In it, she finds Dorothy’s money and Plinio tells her that she will not go unpunished for this.
