We start with Bento and Jonas at Plinio and Irene’s home. He explains to the couple including the children, Malu, Mada and Emilia about Socorro’s strange unknown contact and how something does not add up. It becomes clear to Irene that someone really is after Amora and Plinio tells them that now, they have to act with caution, and Emilia says that they cannot sit with their arms crossed, otherwise they all too might be under threat.
Mr Marco comes to the house and congratulates Plinio for his family. Bento asks him if Amora will be liberated but then he tells them that Amora’s threatening of some witnesses has had the judge decide to listen to the witnesses personally.
Manolo berates Lara about playing Caio, and Lara wants to know how he found out. Manolo tells her that Caio told her himself and also swore to raise hell if she did not leave him (Caio) alone. As such he asks Lara for help, and she is shocked when he asks to marry her, and be a family along with little Manolo.
During Filipinho’s audition, all goes haywire for one of the boys who is auditioning, whose name is Celinho. The director berates him for being so clumsy and his lack of prowess. He is chased away and Filipinho goes after him telling the director that she is very insensitive and she warns him that he may lose his chance if he leaves the stage, but he could care less and goes after Celinho.
Veronica is very nervous when Willy Bob tells her about the concert she has been invited to which will circulate around cities like Bela Horizonte, Recife and Brasilia. She is not sure but then, he tells her that many artists would love to get the chance which she has bagged, and with that she accepts.
Lara refuses to marry Manolo as she may already be pregnant with Caio’s child and he wants to spoil her with party passes, trips and may even adopt the kid she is carrying. He gives her two days to pick the glamorous life he is offering her or to continue living her mediocre life.
Carmem tells Erico about Veronica’s concert and Renata leaving for Rio de Janeiro to be an administrator to her businesses. He says he is happy for them and Carmem reminds him that he has a chance to be with one of them.
Nelson and Brunetty announce to the two that they are getting married, which comes as a shock to Erico seeing as they have hardly dates, but Carmem tells him that it is all the more reason he should learn from them.
Malu comes to see Socorro and offers her help. Socorro asks for forgiveness and tells Malu she feels all alone but Malu tells her she will help her if only she can confess to having knowledge of her attempted attack. Socorro realizes that Malu came to entrap her and tells her to leave. Malu tells her that she will be sorry for not taking her help. She receives the call from the sabotager and tells him/her to come up with a plan since no one is buying the story Amora being guilty.
Bento goes to see Amora at the police station and she begs him to help her get out of there and Mr Marco tells them that the Habeas Corpus will take time to process. She wants to know about the children and he tells her that the children are safe since through their marriage, he is now a guardian of the children as well. Visiting hours end fast and he tells her he will work to get her out of there.
Filipinho takes to Celinho. He advises the young man not to give up on his dreams but also advises him to be ever prepared since anyone looking for a chance to downcast him will do so at will. Celinho tells him that his dream has always been to be in a musical and he admits to admiring all Filipinho has done with his life. He thanks Filipinho and leaves.
Xander comes out to see Filipinho and berates him for walking out of the stage but Filipinho is actually satisfied since at least he talked to Celinho in a way that no one advised him at first. Just then, an attendant comes to Filipinho and tells him that the director still wants him to audition.
Nelson and Brunetty come briefly to inform their friends at Crash Media about their engagement and reminisce about how she has always been in love with Nelson for the longest time possible. After they leave, Tina is very envious of them. Edu comes to Crash and asks Julia for her credits cards since his is apparently “maxed out”. Tina tells Julia very blatantly that she is being used by Edu, and an emotionally wrecked Julia starts crying saying Edu loves her. Silvia, as always, starts to calm Julia down.
Tina receives a call from the studio telling her that she is fired from The Calabresa Family and gets hysterical as everyone tries to calm her down as well.
Veronica is worried that she has forgotten something and even deems herself as nervous as a schoolgirl but Mauricio tells her she is just okay and ready for the tour. She then advises her son to check in on Malu and Mauricio is guessing that she is telling him this because of a certain guy as well. Just then, Willy Bob arrives with Natan in tow, who agrees to take them to the airport. She hugs Natan and Santa goodbye (Santa tells Mauricio to listen to his mother). Mauricio then calls Erico.
After the call he has with Mauricio, Erico nervously tells Silvia that Veronica’s flight is leaving around 8 a.m. and she tells him to go after it before he regrets it. Tina and Julia cry, comforting each other about their woes.
Filipinho becomes one of three auditioners who are chosen for the casting of the musical. Xander congratulates him since he deserves this victory. The director remembers him for his time casting, and tells him she likes his attitude.
Malu tells Mada she feels a bit hurt since as Bento is really fighting for Amora, although Mada tries to assure her that it is all for justice’s sake, but clearly there is an unbreakable bond between Amora and Bento. Just then, Emilia comes into the bedroom and tells Malu that someone has come to see her. It is Bento.
Erico gets to the airport just in time and calls out to Veronica, as she is bidding farewell to Natan.
Bento tells Malu that they need to discuss their foundation, and she says she will talk with Mauricio. He also says that he is there to clarify that once all this mess with Amora is over, he wants to fight for what they had. He cannot notice Mauricio at the door to Malu’s bedroom. Malu tells him that they are in a complicated situation and reminds him that it was Mauricio who broke up with her, but then he contradicts saying that Mauricio probably knows there is an unresolved love between them.
Erico tells Veronica she deserves the luck and happiness and they hug, she telling him that coming from him, his good luck wish very comforting. After she leaves, Natan and Erico decide to go have drinks.
An angry Mauricio walks out of the bedroom unnoticed but Mada and Emilia see him leaving the house. They know that he must have seen Malu and Bento together, and Mada insists that Mauricio is the guy Malu is meant to be with and not Bento.
Bento and Malu talk about his undying connection to Amora and she insists that one way or another, his devotion to her will always be between them although, she does not hold it against him knowing that he is a person who is susceptible to being so caring and doing good.
Filipinho is sad seeing as he has been chosen for the musical yet he has to go to New York. Xander tells him to stay since he loves him.
Douglas sees Socorro crying and asks her what the problem is and she says she didn’t plan anything against Amora. He believes in her innocence since he like her and she never noticed. He asks for a chance and will protect her.
Socorro is calmed since she never thought anyone would like her but….
It seems Douglas is working to entrap Socorro. He tells Bento and Jonas that Socorro will confide in him and they realize they must act fast.
Barbara and Vitinho continue to gloat about their content and what a masterpiece their upcoming show is set out to be.
Lucindo gets a job as a parking valet and Lili is wary of him being involved with another woman but then, Damaris says she believes in him. Lili is shocked at Damris’ change of heart to the point that he faints. She tells Lucindo about the fact that she is changed after solidifying her pact with Gladis. Lucindo is fascinated and they start to kiss deeply – forgetting all about Lili.
Odilla is the most emotional as they have a farewell dinner for Renata and tells her her name means reborn. Filipinho informs people about the fact that he has manged to get the role in the musical and thus will not be living for New York, making his parents overjoyed.
Mada tells Malu about Mauricio being there and running away after seeing her with Bento and Malu starts to go after Mau as he must have misunderstood her. She is aware that Mauricio must have seen the kiss that Bento gave her.
Erico and Natan drink to Veronica and Mauricio joins them telling them about Malu not being in love with him. Natan and Erico tell him not to give up. They toast to the important women in their lives, life, and hopefully better days ahead.
Sueli interviews Barbara for her upcoming reality show being launched. Lara introduces Mel. Monica interviews Vitinho who says he has come to conquer. She goes to Tito who says he will be himself. The bus comes to pick the cast and as Monica tries to interview Lara about Manolo being back in Brazil, Lara averts it out of being “busy”
Sueli walks in on Vivian and Sandrona after they finish talking with Vivian. Sandrona is called an idiot by Sueli who leaves her. She is however not fazed since what nagers her most is the cancellation of the show. Tabata approaches her and Sandrona vents more about the cancellation of The Calabresa Family, after which she leaves.
Tabata takes advantage of this info to go and gloat in Sueli’s face about the fact that despite her command of the audience, she does not really have the power she thinks she has – what she truly is, is lonely.
Xander tells Filipinho about his affection for her and Rosemere walks in on them with a tray of goodies. After Rosemere leaves, she feeds him with cheesecakes and sees a present from Xander. She realizes he decided to stay because of Xander, and is completely in support if their relationship.
They embrace and she tells him all she wants is his happiness. Jonas tells Bento about Douglas and Socorro going shopping. He is going to the police station to report her through a tracking device bugged in Socorro’s phone.
Socorro and Douglas shop even though she feels insecure, they continue on to a boutique and then he shuffles through her purse, to check for the location of the person she has been calling. She comes out just as he is done and then when she comes out, her phone rings. She decides to ignore it saying the person who is calling will leave a message if it is important. They continue shopping but a person is watching them from a distance.
Damaris is busy watering the flowers and then Lili is happy to talk to her about his past relationships with Eliseu and then Jorge. Then, Nestor and Odilla argue about this talk. Damaris tells them to let go off resentment and even Odilla is shocked by her advice.
Aurea and Barrabas come to see Damaris to say goodbye as they head to Nepal and have a proposal for her that she cannot refuse.
Douglas and Socorro keep shopping and hugs him saying she never realized how cool he was. Jonas tells the police chief about her connection with the true sabotager. An officer brings in all the numbers recovered including the one sending threat messages and they identify someone whose name is Roberta. Jonas has no idea who that is and just then, he sees Socorro’s phone on and the tracker is working.
Amora while in prison recalls her moments with Bento and asks herself what she has done with her life. Gilson tells Silverio about Amora’s innocence but then, Fabinho and Giane still consider her a criminal and she needs to stay in jail, for all her wrongdoings.
At a café, Socorro and Douglas smother each other and he wants to get her a watch she really likes. Someone comes to get Socorro from behind. Douglas comes back and since cannot see her again, he approaches the cleaner and asks her if he saw Socorro and she says she did and left with a man, but it seems as if she did not want to leave with the man…
